Germany, Italy, France and beyond!

Part I     Germany

I have a lot to share with you.  There has been a lot going on, both on the travel front and right here in Davos.  So I thought I would create a few very short stories.  The first story is about Germany.

Germany

Marienplatz

We spent fours days in the city named the Most Livable City in Europe: Munich.  Munich is wonderful...full of great history, fun things to do and beautiful sights.

Beer Garden

The beer gardens are so much fun.  We were there on a friday evening.  Here people gather with friends for a great beer and food.
May Pole

In the center of the beer garden, is the May Pole.

Markets

It was asparagus season, so asparagus was in every Vendor booth.  And asparagus soup was sold everywhere and really delicious.

Drachau
The following pictures are of Dachau Concentration camp.  The sign on the entrance gate says: Work will set you free.  It was a sarcastic greeting to the people entering the camp.

Munich Park

Munich Park is absolutely beautiful.  I could have spent the entire day there.

We loved our time in Munich.  Germany is great place to visit.

But now I must move on to Italy, then France, but that is next time...as I am packing for a visit to the USA!!

Life is moving quickly...Today is the one year anniversary of Ray's arrival in Switzerland.  It is hard to believe.  I know there are more adventures to share!

Enjoy every minute, no matter where you are!
